We believe in end-to-end patient care. We don’t just test for and diagnose COVID19, we guide our patients through the entirety of the coronavirus infection with testing and treatment available in under one hour.
Our clinicians will monitor your condition throughout your recovery process with simple texting methods. We care about your recovery and can continue to monitor your condition with the assistance of our sister practice, Grand River Family Care. If symptoms are mild, we typically treat this as a common viral illness and treat symptomatically. We can provide more advanced care with a variety medications and treatment modalities, if more severe. We can provide respiratory medications to keep your airways open and alleviate other symptoms or manage evolving complications. When necessary, we can provide access to FDA EUA currently approved antiviral therapy or monoclonal antibodies as noted below.
When recovering at home, here are a few recommendations to consider on your road to wellness:
As much as possible, stay in a specific room and away from other people and pets in your home. If possible, you should use a separate bathroom. If you need to be around other people or animals in or outside of the home, wear a mask.
Tell your close contacts that they may have been exposed to COVID-19. An infected person can spread COVID-19 starting 48 hours (or 2 days) before the person has any symptoms or tests positive. By letting your close contacts know they may have been exposed to COVID-19, you are helping to protect everyone.
Key symptoms of COVID-19 include fever, cough, chest pain and shortness of breath but can include other symptoms.
Follow care instructions from RediCare Okemos, your healthcare provider and/or the state or local county health department. Your local health authorities may give instructions on checking your symptoms and reporting information.
If warranted, keep track of your key vital signs

Pulse – finger pulse oximeter or electronic blood pressure cuff
Oxygen levels — % oxygen level with a pulse oximeter
